I am a BIG lover of my eyelash curler!

Not only does it make me look
like I have lush, full lashes, but it also means that I don't have to apply as much mascara and my lashes don't look all clumpy! In my family, I think I was the one who got the 'short-end of the stick' on Lashes, because all my sisters have longer ones then me! Even my brothers have better ones! (It's always the boys, right?) So for me, I feel like it's a necessity to curl my lashes!

But it used to be the opposite, I
used to think it was just a waste of time and honestly the last time I used it was when I was about 12 years old when I was going to preform in a Ballet Recital and while I was trying to curl my lashes I pinched my eyes in the process! It HURT! I swore I would never use it again. But just this past year I decided to give it one more try.

W
ithout pinching my eyes, I applied mascara, looked in the mirror....and WOW! I couldn't believe how that little thing could do such an amazing job!

Here are some Before and After pictures!

The curler that I am using I bought at the drugstore. The brand is called 'Maybelline,' it does a great job for a cheap curler, but I think it's time for me to look at getting a new one now.I have always wondered about the Shu Uemera curler because of all the rave reviews it's gotten from celebs and makeup artists.

In fact, one celeb was asked, "If you could only take one thing onto a deserted island, what would it be?" And then she replied, "My Shu Uemera eyelash Curler!" What are you thoughts about it? Do you love it? Why? Do you think it's worth the money?

Let me know your thoughts about it!

Hey all!
I know some people have some doubts about shopping at second-hand thrift shops, but the things you can find could be so worthwhile!

Anyway I want to show you what I got when I went to Salvation Army the other day!

We found out that they were having 50% off on everything so Me, my Mom, my brother Emerson and my sister Samantha went one hot afternoon and looked around and I'm glad we did because I have been looking for a black purse for quite awhile, and I've been deciding whether to get an expensive one or look at thrift stores...but luckily I looked in the purse section and saw this nice fake black Miu Miu purse and I decided to get it...I know it' s not the real deal but I LOVE it!

Here is a picture of the purse:

Now I know it might be funny to you that I'm posting a pair of Men's jeans on my blog...but the reason why I'm showing you is because they are 'Rock and Republic' jeans, which cost around $208.00 or more! But we got them for only $4.99!!! So my dad got a nice, expensive pair of jeans for a lot less than the original price! Honestly how great is that?!

I will be doing a 'Favorite Fall Fashion' post next...tell me what YOUR faves are!

My second favorite garage sale deal!

Hey!
So a few weeks ago I posted my
"My Most Favorite Garage Sale deal!"and today I'll be showing you all my SECOND favorite yard sale deal! So about a week ago I had the privilege of helping a friend with her wedding reception, which was kind of a 'pool party,' only more formal. It was also the perfect occasion to wear this Forever21 pink dress that I got for only $1.00 at a garage sale and I had so much fun wearing it! I felt like I was in pink cotton candy! Same with the Chanel purse in my last post, it was hidden in a little rack of clothing, sometimes garage saling takes a little looking, you never know what you can find!

(Here's a picture of my back turned so you can have the idea of the style)

Hahaha this picture makes me laugh! My sister was the Photographer at the event so she got some interesting pictures of me! Lesson learned DON'T look at your sister while eating!

(I just had to show you the
desserts that were there...so cute and delicious!;)
